I’ve always been a shy person so when a friend suggested that I attend Baltimore Single Speed Dating, hosted by Professionals in the City, my immediate response was, “NO!” I couldn’t imagine sitting in a room full of people and talking with each one of them for five minutes per “date”. I’m just too shy!Don’t get me wrong, I wanted to find true, lasting, love so instead I went the Internet route and had several dates with some very nice Maryland singles. We went on several dates but they all didn’t seem to work out.However, the good thing about going out with my Internet dates was that it gave me the courage to try Baltimore Single Speed Dating. My friend and I went together to a beautiful lounge where the event took place. We checked in early, as requested, and went ov guitar chords er to the bar and had some wine. That definitely loosened me up a little so I wasn’t quite as nervous. Once my nerves we calmed the dating began.Speed dating is a great way to find Baltimore singles because I had such an amazing time. The dating portion lasted for an hour and I got to spend a few minutes with each date. I came prepared with questions that weren’t run-of-the-mill so that I could really get a feel for each person I met.After the Baltimore Single Speed Dating was over, we headed over to the bar for some more wine and appetizers. I got to have more conversations with the men I met and there was one in particular that I really clicked with. We exchanged phone numbers, went on several dates, moved in together, and are now engaged! This event changed my life.
